The Bull Hotel, Stony Stratford, has paid particular attention to the styling of its 12 ensuite boutique rooms, including 3 feature rooms which offer a few more quirky features and a touch more space. Each room has been individually named and styled to reflect its theme. The names of the rooms are all linked to the history of the building and the surrounding area of Stony Stratford and Milton Keynes. Guests are able to select the rooms available and choose which room they would prefer to stay in when booking online or over the phone.

Named because of its location directly looking out at The Parish Church of St Mary & St through its large feature window. This room is bright and spacious and features a large shower in its en-suite.

The Latin name for Bull - One of our special feature rooms. The room is spacious with a dressing area and wardrobe, a large settee for relaxing and a large en-suite. The room also includes unique original features such as a wooden and tiled fireplace.

STANBRYGGE 
 
An old English word for Stone Bridge which is how Stony Stratford got its name after the creation of a bride made from stone. An individually designed room with unique original features such as an interesting bedroom fireplace and wooden sash windows and an ensuite.

Named after Thomas Homer who planned the Regent Canal at The Bull - This room is quirky in its style, as a door leads to the room through another private door. A unique fireplace and stylish ensuite are also a focus of the room

Named after the famous saying, which is said to have derived from the Hotel and its competitor The Cock, which is located across the road. The Cock & Bull Suite - Our bridal suite, perfect for a special occasion! This split level suite is beautifully decorated with a feature bed with drapes and a unique bathroom with a luxury roll top bath

One of the highlight's of the annual calendar in Stony Stratford is in early June when Folk on the Green, a free festival of folk music, folk rock and eclectic taste takes over Horsefair Green, which is located across the road from The Bull Hotel - This snug room is found in the heart of the building and can be found away from it all. The room features a stylish en-suite and original artwork

Named as it is located above the original stables of the Coaching Inn - a spacious room with original beams, sash windows, a seating area and work desk. 
The Bull Hotel - The Woodville Room

WOODVILLE 
 
Named after Elizabeth Woodville who famously married Edward VI, the first commoner to marry a King. She was the mother of the Princes in the Tower of London and the two met whilst both staying in Stony Stratford. A room overlooking the high street through its sash window. the room has a spacious en-suite and is individually styled

Named as it is one of the larger rooms in the hotel, and was probably used as a meeting room originally. An impressive room at the top of the building, featuring a separate living area with settee and chairs

THE OUSE 
 
The town name 'Stratford' is Anglo-Saxon in origin, and means 'ford on a Roman road'. The Roman road in this sense is the Watling Street which runs through the middle of the town. The ford is the crossing of the River Ouse. The prefix 'Stony' refers to the stones on the bed of the ford, differentiating the town from nearby Fenny Stratford. This room includes an original fireplace and sash windows and has a large en-suite
